We have experienced an influx of petitions since the beginning of the year – five to be exact! While I welcome the work, it means scheduling is sometimes difficult. We will vote on the petition of Ze’ev Lowenberg and anticipate conferring the Fel-low Craft degree on Brothers Bhuiyan, Bonds, and Eder on May 24. Pending dispensation, we will meet on May 31, and anticipate conferring the Entered Apprentice degree on Mr. Lowenberg and Mr. Denney. This meeting replaces the June 7 meeting date, and June 7 is cancelled.
As a memento of the 300th Anniversary of the United Grand Lodge of England, and with the help of a friend of the Lodge, Bro. Reynaldo Williams, I have one hundred Corinthian Lodge
challenge coins. I offer for $20 each
(plus cost of shipping as needed). Note, this is not a sale by the Lodge, but by me per-sonally, and my profit is less than $2 per coin. First come, first served. Email or leave me a message and we can arrange the ex-change: 443-377-1687 or email@example.com.
Please join me in a visit to Towson Bethel #36 of Job’s Daughters for their installation of officers in the evening of June 3 at Mt. Moriah Temple. Bethel #36 has been invaluable with their assistance with our CHIP programs, and a visit is overdue. If you have a young lady in the family, this is a great opportunity to learn more about Job’s Daughters.
Please join Melanie and me for a trap shooting event on the weekend of June 10-11 to benefit our friends at The Red Devils. Register at https://thereddevilsevents.org/claycupchallenge/. I intend to register for the first round on Sunday, although I be-lieve brother Moy will be there Saturday. No matter when you intend to go, look for a Corinthian team to join when you regis-ter. It’s at Loch Raven Skeet and Trap Center about eight miles north of Mt. Moriah.
I hope to see everyone on June 16 at 6:00PM for our Shinnick Memorial Dinner and Strawberry Night lodge cookout! It’s al-ways a great time with our brothers, friends, and families. We also draw the winners of our raffle. I hope your ticket sales are going well; let me know if you need more. Please try to have the stubs and payment to us by the end of May.
We will be walking in the Towson 4th of July Parade again this year. Immediate family can walk with us. Please join us for a time of smiles!
I will have flyers soon for our Texas Roadhouse fundraiser in White Marsh on July 19. Come out and have a great meal and get 10% of your check donated back to the Corinthian Lodge Charitable Foundation. Stay tuned for details.
Enjoy the 300th Anniversary of what is now known as The Unit-ed Grand Lodge of England on June 24. Take a moment to re-flect on the contributions of Freemasonry to society and to each of us personally. We are part of an incredible organization.
Depending on the progress of the five current candidates, we may have a special meeting in July or
August to bring all of our candidates to Fellow Craft. Rehearsals ended for the summer on May 17 and will resume on August 23. First scheduled meeting after
the summer break will be September 6.
